Aurum the man with the power of weath

Aurum is a the richest man in his dimension. He owns entire planets made from the most rarest
substances in the multiverse. He has slaves, castles, kingdoms... everything anyone could wish for.
Anything even an entire universe was lacking he has in abundance. For in his dimension, wealth literally equals power. For gold in his dimension has a special property where it binds to the spirit of its owner and grants them
untold strength. Wars in this dimension are based solely on the strength of the rich. In this dimension the poor
don't fight for the rich. Everyone fights for themselves, and the rich beat everyone. Aurum is the most rich man in his dimension and controls everything. His power reaches throughout all of space and every galaxy. His wealth is enormous enough for him to destroy entire planets with a single effortless blow. But his greed has turned him into a cruel man of evil. Torturing and devouring all he sees just to gain more wealth and power. As long as his gold remains under his ownership in his dimension, he remains unchallenged by any other who has faced him. And now this man seeks to leave his universe in search of more gold in other universes so he might bring it back to his and become completely invincible.

Of course leaving his dimension would also make his connection to gold=Power ability nonexistent. Effectively rendering him a normal man without anything but the power to buy stuff.

Assuming his currency / possessions mean anything in that dimension. If Not, then he just becomes a man. xD

No its linked to his spirit. You didnt read the fine print. So as far as anyone else is concerned. He has that power and no one can do anything about it unless you go to his dimension and take all the gold of that universe out. Then the power goes away

It could be linked to his spirit all it wants. Dimensional travel breaks said links. Different dimensions have different physical and magical laws. Also, hypothetically, leaving his dimension without bringing his gold means anyone in his dimension could just casually claim it.
